About Us
Mission Statement
We are committed to quality and style in the art of scrapbooking. Our products are archival and guaranteed to stand the test of time. We are proud to declare that our albums are made in the USA.
History
Scrap Artistry has been manufacturing scrapbooks since 2000. We created Scrap Artistry
albums because we felt there was a need in the marketplace for a well-made scrapbook
at a reasonable price.
Exquisitely hand-crafted in the U.S.A, these handsome albums are designed by a scrapbooker for scrapbookers who appreciate quality that will last as long as their cherished memories.
Our album are covered with a carefully selected array of vibrant colored fabrics and captivating prints, with thought being given to holidays, seasons, lifestyle and school colors. We offer leather albums in five classic colors at a very modest price point, available in two album sizes.
Scrap Artistry albums are post bound and true 12" x 12"in size. They are designed so the screw posts are hidden from view. Our heavy weight top-loading page protectors are made with a wide margin so the pages lay flat. Our inside covers are lined with a rich embossed paper. We manufacture many of our fashionable solid colored and print fabric scrapbooks in an 8" X 8" size also.
Our innovative View Thru 4 X 4 Window albums are available in over twenty five different patterned and solid covers. Sports, Travel and Patriotic are the themes of our print fabric covered Lifestyle Albums. We have introduced a series of new Faux Suede Scrap Artistry Albums, including a rosebud embossed suede and a corduroy embossed suede covered album.
The Owners
In 1999 Linda Pountney, an avid scrapbooker, had a growing awareness of the lack of distinctive scrapbooks available at a reasonable price. After researching fabrics and the bookbinding process, she and her husband Art Peterson formed Scrap Artistry LLC and started manufacturing fabric covered scrapbooks. Art Peterson oversees the production and quality of all Scrap Artistry products. Linda Pountney designs the albums and selects the fabrics for their covers. All materials used in our books are both acid-free and archival. Our products have been editorialized by most of the major trade magazines, and advertised therein.
